Lewis Ferguson has admitted he will be very proud to captain Bologna as he prepares for his fourth season at the club.
And he's revealed he will be playing in a deeper role this season.
The Scotland midfielder is expecting big things from the Coppa Italia winners after their marquee signings of 57-times capped former Lazio hero Ciro Immobile after a year with Besiktas and ex-Juventus ace Federico Bernardeschi.
And he's delighted he will be wearing the captain's armband.
Ferguson said: "I've been here for three seasons, so I feel the responsibility in the dressing room.

"Being captain means a lot. I like the challenge it brings and it's easy with this team.
"With the additions of Ciro Immobile and Federico Bernardeschi, the quality has risen. We know it will be a tough season and we will play on Thursdays in the Europa League and then again on Sundays, so these two reinforcements will be very important.
"My first goal is to have a season without any physical problems and not stop every couple of months, which happened last season.
"I will be playing in a deeper role in midfield, but I am happy with that because I've actually already done it in Scotland and I feel very comfortable in this position, even if I might have to give up a few goals because I'll be playing further back.
"But I'll still try to score my share of goals.
"We haven't talked about our targets for the season yet, but we want to do something special."
