Lewis Capaldi announces string of intimate Scottish shows with just 100 tickets available for each one

If you had hopes of seeing Lewis Capaldi in an intimate setting before he becomes a ‘global phenomenon’ then you may be in luck - but you’ll have to be quick.

The Someone You Loved singer has announced a string of intimate album release shows across the UK, including Dundee and Edinburgh.

Lewis, who is set to spend his fourth week at the No.1 spot with the single, will play tiny venues to celebrate the release of his new album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent this May.

However, fans must act quick as there are just 100 tickets up for grabs at each venue, with some having sold out in minutes.

Lewis will play an acoustic set at Edinburgh’s Assai at 3pm on May 17, and promises to chat to every single fan in attendance.

Then he’ll head to Dundee where he’ll play a full live show at 8pm.

Lewis announced the intimate tour on social media, sharing the link and telling fans: "V V V INTIMATE ALBUM LAUNCH SHOWS. ON SALE RIGHT NOW! F****** GO!!!!!!"

Both Scottish dates are now sold out but there are still limited tickets left for shows in Bristol, London, Brighton and Nottingham.

And if you're wondering where Glasgow is on the list, don't worry.

Lewis told a fan: "Glasgow news soon, will be in a shop though so v v small."
