Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media and reacted to rumours of a potential swoop for Sergio Ramos.
The Spain international is approaching the final five months of his contract at Real Madrid, and amid talk of a stand-off with the La Liga giants, he will be free to speak with foreign clubs later this week.
And according to the Evening Standard, Spurs have become a potential destination for Ramos as he considers leaving the Santiago Bernabeu after more than a decade at the club.
Furthermore, the report states that Jose Mourinho is keen to bolster his central defensive options and is keeping an eye on Ramos' situation as he could soon be reunited with the 34-year-old.
Alternatively, the north London outfit could renew their interest in Milan Skriniar after being heavily linked with a move for the Inter Milan defender in the summer transfer window.
It remains to be seen if Ramos - who is also reportedly attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and clubs in Italy - will leave Real Madrid at some point in 2021, but his manager Zinedine Zidane is remaining coy.
"He is looking well, because he is convinced that he will continue and that is the most important thing," said Zidane, as per the Mail.
"I see him playing football for many years because he is someone who takes great care of himself.
"If you want to continue and take care of yourself, you have a great chance of continuing for a long time and I'm not surprised by what he does."
As expected, there has been a huge reaction from a number of Spurs fans on social media, with the responses mixing from sheer excitement to refusing to believe the rumour is true.
