'Let’s go for more' - Cristiano Ronaldo sends clear message to Manchester United teammates

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has reassured fans that he and his teammates will not give up fighting for a place in the Champions League, despite being outsiders for a top four spot.

The 37-year-old has scooped three more personal accolades to add to his already impressive collection, winning United's Player of the Month and Goal of the Month award, as well as the Premier League Goal of the Month award following his wonder strike against Tottenham Hotspur. Ronaldo missed the draw with Leicester on Saturday through illness as United failed to close the gap between themselves and the top four.

Arsenal's defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday dealt a blow to their hopes of securing Champions League football next season. And Ronaldo has clearly not given up on United's season just yet.

"Individual achievements are always welcome, but they’re worth so much more when they are connected to collective wins," he wrote on Instagram. "There are still many things to fight for until the end of the season and we can never quit on achieving the goals that remain possible and within our reach.

"Thanks to everyone who voted for the Goal Of The Month and Player Of The Month awards. Let’s go for more!

"Let’s fight until our last breath! Let’s go, Devils!"
