'Lehra do': Ambanis honour T20 World Cup heroes Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav at Anant-Radhika sangeet ceremony - WATCH

NEW DELHI: India captain Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav were honoured by the Ambanis for their T20 World Cup triumph during Anant and Radhika's sangeet ceremony in Mumbai.

Rohit, who led India to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup with a thrilling win over South Africa in the final, received special recognition alongside his teammates.

Nita Ambani and Akash Ambani celebrated the achievements of the Indian skipper, Pandya, and Suryakumar, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the team's success.

T20 World Cup: Team India victory parade

India secured a dramatic seven-run victory over South Africa in Barbados to clinch their first global tournament since the 2013 Champions Trophy.

WATCH:

World Cup-winning skipper Rohit described the victory as a "dream come true" for India, ending more than a decade of heartache since their previous World Cup win in the 50-over format in 2011.

"The team and I are very proud to be able to bring the cup home and are truly touched by how much happiness it has brought everyone back home," Rohit said.
