Leeds weather: Exact date Met Office predicts city will be 20C

Leeds is forecast to have overcast skies and rain throughout the day - which will leave residents wondering when they can expect hotter weather. Fortunately, it's not too far away, according to the Met Office. Their latest forecast says temperatures will reach as high as 20°C on Monday (May 9).

But before that, Leeds is set for a weekend of mixed weather. Saturday is set to bring sunny intervals in the morning before skies turn cloudy at 10am and remain that way into the evening. Temperatures will reach highs of 15°C.

On Sunday, there will be a cloudy start to the day - but this will turn to sunny intervals between 1pm and 7pm with a clear night ahead. This day will be hotter than the last, getting as hot as 18°C.

Despite temperatures being set to reach highs of 20°C on Monday, the sunny intervals are not set to continue into the start of next week. According to the Met Office forecast, there will be cloudy skies all day.

But on the plus side, no rainfall is expected.
