Leeds United youngster Kun Temenuzhkov seals Real Union loan switch

Leeds United youngster Kun Temenuzhkov has joined Spanish outfit Real Union on loan, the Whites have announced.

The 20-year-old striker, who joined the Whites from Barcelona back in July 2017, has joined the Segunda Division B side on a season-long loan.

Temenuzhkov only recently returned to Elland Road following a short-term loan at FC La Nucia, who he signed for back in January.

During his time on loan with the fellow Segunda Division B side, the youngster made just two appearances, both of which were from the substitutes bench.

The Bulgarian has featured for Leeds' first-team in the past, playing 11 minutes of the club's FA Cup third round defeat to QPR at Loftus Road back in January 2019.

Temenuzkhov becomes the second Leeds youngster to have left on loan inside the past week, with fellow striker Ryan Edmondson having also been sent out on a temporary basis.

Edmondson joined Scottish outfit Aberdeen last week ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Scottish Premiership campaign and he made his debut for the Pittodrie outfit against Rangers, stepping off the bench during the second half to get 25 minutes under his belt, but it was not enough to to prevent a 1-0 defeat to Steven Gerrard's side to start the season.
