Leeds United vs Liverpool TV channel, live stream, kick-off time and early team news

Eight days after their enthralling 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Anfield, Liverpool make their return to Premier League action at Elland Road tonight.

Javi Gracia's Leeds United are the opponents for the Reds across the Pennines, with Jurgen Klopp's side knowing they must take all three points back to Merseyside if they are to keep their flickering hopes of Champions League qualification alive.

After Newcastle United fell to a 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday, victory this evening would see the Reds close the gap between themselves and their Champions League rivals to nine points.

And here are all the details on how to follow this huge Premier League fixture if you're not lucky enough to be there...

What time does Leeds United vs Liverpool kick-off?

The Premier League clash at Elland Road will kick off at 8pm on Monday, April 17.

Is Leeds United vs Liverpool on TV?

Yes. Sky Sports will be broadcasting the game and all the build-up on Sky Sports Main Event.

Monday Night Football will begin at 7 pm with David Jones, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville joined by a special guest. The programme will run until 11pm.

How else can I follow Leeds United vs Liverpool?

The ECHO's Paul Gorst and Ian Doyle will be at Elland Road to bring you all the build-up, live updates and immediate post-match reaction.

Coverage can be found in the ECHO's live matchday blog, which will be at the top of the Liverpool FC section on the ECHO's website from 4pm onwards.

Highlights of the clash will be uploaded to Sky Sports' YouTube channel immediately after the full-time whistle.

However, due to it being a midweek fixture, there will be no Match of the Day highlights.

Early Leeds United vs Liverpool team news

Reds manager Klopp will be boosted by the return of Luis Diaz, who is set to be named on the bench after six months out with a serious knee injury.

The Colombian has been training with the rest of his first-team peers at Kirkby for the last three weeks. However, given the nature of his injury and the setback he suffered in December, his return to fitness has been a carefully-managed process.

Thiago Alcantara could also be in line to make his first Premier League start since early February after making his return from a long-term hip injury during the second half of last weekend's clash at Anfield against Arsenal.

Elsewhere, a late call is expected to be made on the availability of Alisson Becker and Ibrahima Konate after the pair missed certain sessions on Merseyside last week.
