Leeds United transfer rumours: Matheus Pereira price tag revealed as Whites offered striker reunion

Leeds United's summer transfer window is set to be a busy one, if Victor Orta's recent comments are anything to go by.

The Whites' director of football claimed he's hopeful to have all new additions through the door by July 1, in order to give them each a good run at pre-season training under the incredibly demanding Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds' pre-season regime is set to be as strict as those in previous campaigns, as the team look to consolidate their place in the Premier League's top half, and retain their crown as the division's fittest side.

With that in mind, LeedsLive have compiled the latest transfer rumours filling the back pages.

Pereira price tag revealed

West Brom have informed Leeds United that Matheus Pereira will only cost £15million.

The Whites are monitoring the Brazilian playmaker, who scored 11 Premier League goals last season despite the Baggies' relegation to the Championship.

According to TEAMtalk, United have been informed Pereira is available for £15million, which seems quite cheap.

Leeds offered Nketiah

Leeds United have been offered the chance to re-sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah this summer.

The 22-year-old has struggled for regular minutes under Mikel Arteta after being recalled from a season-long loan at Elland Road 18 months ago.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are now looking to sell the Englishman to raise funds and have placed a £20million price tag on his head.

The striker scored five goals in 19 appearances for Leeds in the Championship.

Lang's agent touts possible transfer

Noa Lang's agent has spoken about the possibility of a summer transfer.

The 21-year-old scored 17 times and provided eleven assists for Club Brugge this season.

That has reportedly attracted attention from Leeds and a move away from Belgium has not been dismissed.

“In football, there is always a chance of a transfer in a win-win situation," the agent told Belgian outlet Krant van West-Vlaanderen.

“In any case, Noa is in a luxury situation, because an extra year in the Champions League can also be important for him.”
