Leeds United transfer rumours as striker linked and Raphinha claim made

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Monday, 15 November.

Former loan man Nketiah linked

Leeds United are among a host of clubs who have enquired over the availability of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, according to TransferMarketWeb.

Fellow Premier League sides West Ham United and Crystal Palace, as well as Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach are also reportedly in the running for his signature.

Nketiah is out of contract with the Gunners at the end of the season and so Arsenal may look to move him on in January to avoid losing him for nothing.

He spent the first half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Leeds, scoring five goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.

Liverpool 'could make January Raphinha move'

Liverpool could make a move for Leeds United winger Raphinha in January in sporting director Michael Edwards’ last transfer window at the Reds.

That is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that if Liverpool decide to open their chequebook then Raphinha is the leading contender to join the club.

The 24-year-old has been in excellent form for Leeds so far this season, scoring five goals in ten league starts.

His stock has risen extortionately since making the move to Elland Road from Rennes last year for just £17million.

Norris debates Phillips future

Former Leeds United midfielder David Norris believes Kalvin Phillips could be tempted to leave the club in the future.

Phillips has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks amid his growing reputation at both club and international level.

The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the country and given his success for both Leeds and England, Norris thinks that Phillips could depart in order to win some trophies.

Speaking to ThisIsFutbol, he said: “He’s going to be ambitious, he’s regular now for the international team. You’d think with the ambition he’s got, for what he’s done in a short period of time, he’s going to want to do bigger and better things.”
