Leeds United supporters 'nervous' for Chelsea clash as they welcome Lewis Bate selection

Leeds United supporters have been trying to guess how they'll line up tonight against Chelsea in a must win game. Jesse Marsch has named four centre-backs for tonight's clash at Elland Road.

There's been plenty of deliberation over who will start at right-back too in Luke Ayling's absence. Lewis Bate will start in midfield against his former club.

The Whites know time is running out if they're to secure their Premier League status for next season. They remain level on points with Burnley but the Clarets vastly superior goal difference means they're currently outside of the relegation zone.

Everton are one point ahead of Marsch's side and have a game in hand with games against Brentford, Crystal Palace and Arsenal on the horizon. The Whites' fate remains in their own hands but they know any points this evening would be a huge step towards survival.

Here's what Leeds United fans have had to say on social media:

@WhatNeilTweets said: "C’mon, win lose or draw get Elland Road bouncing tonight."

@Seanfhealy tweeted: "Our record against top 6 this season is: played 11. Lost 11. Goals for 8. Goals against 44. But we’re all still ‘Leeds can win this against Chelsea’. Love it."

@NiallBranton said: "Anyone know what formation we are playing?"

@AndRusso_ tweeted: "I really like this starting line-up, considering the absences and the total lack of options in some key positions. Big effort needed tonight Leeds."

@ChattingLeeds said: "Great to see Bate get a run out! COME ON LADS!"
