Crystal Palace and QPR have agreed a deal over reported Leeds United target Eberechi Eze and a deal should be completed within the next 48 hours.
That’s according to the Telegraph , who say the two clubs have agreed a fee of £19.5m for Eze, who was reportedly on Leeds’ radar at one stage.
However, the talented attacker looks set to join the Whites’ new Premier League rivals, Palace, with a deal set to be concluded in the next 48 hours.
Palace had already had one bid rejected for Eze but they upped their offer to £19.5m.
Whilst that did not meet QPR's valuation over £20m for the England youth international, potential add-ons could well take the overall deal over the Loftus Road side's asking price.
That saw them accept an offer for the former Wycombe Wanderers loanee.
As well as Leeds. Fulham, West Ham and West Bromwich Albion were all keen admirers of the 22-year-old.
Club Brugges were also keen to take Eze to Belgium but a rumoured deal for the player was said to have fallen through after he set his sights on the Premier League.
Eze scored 14 times and set up eight goals, whilst playing all of QPR’s 46 Championship fixtures last season.
The London-born midfielder set up the game’s only goal, as the Hoops beat the Whites 1-0 at Loftus Road back in January.
Leeds are set to meet Crystal Palace on Saturday, November 7, where Eze could feature against Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
