Here is the Leeds United morning digest on Tuesday, August 11.
Leeds’ new sponsor drops hint over date for new kit
Leeds supporters could have to wait another three weeks until they get to see their brand-new Adidas kit for next season.
The Whites have been promoted to the Premier League and Adidas will be supplying the club’s kits for the first time in their history.
Leeds’ new principle sponsors, Celton Manx/SBOTOP’s executive director, has perhaps dropped a hint over when the kit launch will take place.
Bill Mummary said: “I would very much like to think in three weeks’ time, I may be able to go over to participate at Elland Road in the actual launch of the kit, the shirt and so on.”

Whites confirm new sponsorship deal
Leeds have announced a new record-breaking sponsorship deal with the sports betting company, SBOTOP.
The new contract is the largest commercial deal in the club’s history, and the Whites will rock the SBOTOP logo on the front of their shorts next season.
That means that the 32Red logo will no longer be on the club’s shirts. Leeds executive director Paul Bell said this is a landmark day for the Whites.
“Today’s announcement with SBOTOP represents a landmark day for Leeds United’s commercial strategy as we attract new global brands to our official partners programme,” Bell said to the club’s website.

Mills reacts to latest Wilson development
Former Leeds defender Danny Mills believes Bournemouth winger David Brooks would be a better fit than Harry Wilson at Elland Road.
Leeds have reportedly cooled their interest in Wilson, who has now returned to Liverpool, and the former Whites full-back thinks that may be better for his old team.
Mills told Football Insider following speculation from Wales Online that Leeds were keen on Brooks: “I think he (Brooks) is more of a Bielsa-type player. His work-rate is obviously exceptional and he’s willing to get up and down and put a real shift in for the team.
“You’d have to say that on the face it would be a better fit for the type of player that Marcelo Bielsa wants in his team. Harry Wilson is very creative but maybe we haven’t seen the other side of his game so much.”
