Forest defensive issues
Leeds United's relegation rivals Nottingham Forest are facing a defensive headache ahead of this weekend's trip to Chelsea.
Steve Cooper's side moved ahead of Leeds in the Premier League table on Monday night as their 4-3 win over Southampton saw them move out of the bottom three at the Whites' expense. Next up is a trip to Stamford Bridge against a Chelsea side that snapped their barren run under Frank Lampard at the weekend when they saw off Bournemouth.

Speaking ahead of the match, Cooper revealed that it is 'touch and go' whether Serge Aurier will be fit, with the club already reeling from Neco Williams' season-ending injury.
“Serge walked off and we’re doing everything we can to see if he’s available," Cooper said. "Maybe in a different time of the season and if Neco was fit it might be a different situation, but we are going to give him everything we have to see if he can be available . But that’s going to be touch and go.
“It’s still a bit of a mixed bag. Our injury list has definitely been worse, but it’s never something we pay too much attention to.”
Leeds United duo called up for England's U20 World Cup squad
Leeds United youngsters Mateo Joseph and Darko Gyabi have been included in England U20's World Cup squad. The duo will jet off to Argentina for the tournament which kick-starts later this month on May 20, but there are also question marks over the pairs' availability for Leeds' U21s Premier League 2 Division 2 play-off final against Nottingham Forest on May 15.
The young Three Lions will take on Iraq, Tunisia and Uruguay in the group stages of the tournament as they look to get their hands back on the silverware. Ukraine are the current holders having beaten South Korea 3-1 back in 2019.
Marsch on turning down Premier League duo and what next for him
Former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch says the timing wasn't right after approaches from Southampton and Leicester City. The club parted company with Marsch following a dismal run of results but was still approached by their fellow strugglers after his sacking.
The Saints had parted company with Nathan Jones and looking for their third manager of the season with Marsch in the driving seat, but the ex-Whites boss turned them down. Weeks later Leicester City would come calling following the departure of Brendan Rodgers, but the Foxes would get the same result.
