Leeds United news as Andrea Radrizzani's Inter Milan takeover faces 'intense' threat

A look at the latest Leeds United headlines this evening on Monday, April 24.

Andrea Radrizzani's Inter Milan takeover faces 'serious threat'

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has been dealt a major blow in his reported takeover at Serie A side Inter Milan. The Whites chief, who has been linked with a takeover back in his native country, is expected to sell his Leeds shares to 49ers Enterprises this summer, with a deadline of January 2024.

Relegation from the top flight would impact the amount of money he'd be able to recoup from his Whites investment and have potential knock on effects relating to a takeover at Inter. Radrizzani is said to be part of a consortium of buyers keen on buying the Italian outfit.

However, FCInterNews claims there’s renewed interest from a group of Bahrain investors, with the group called Investcorp. The group are said to be getting ‘more and more intense’ in their reported takeover at Inter Milan, which doesn't bode well for Radrizzani.

On this side of the room, we look at these games as six-pointers, how do you see them from your side of the table and inside the camp?

Yeah, as you say, it's a very important game, a crucial game in this important moment of the season. Of course we give the value of the game what it is for us. We are really focused on it.

Is it the perfect game in the situation where you are, because you have the opportunity in you own hands to potentially, aid your fight for survival?

You never know, there are six games left. All remaining games are important, you never know where you will be able to get points.
