Leeds United loanee Cody Drameh confident of play-off success with Luton Town

Leeds United loanee Cody Drameh says his Luton Town side are very confident heading into the Championship play-offs after securing their place in the end of season shootout. The Whites defender has been an ever present as Rob Edwards' side close in on a top four finish which will give them home advantage in the two-legged semi-final next month.

The Hatters have gone 11 games unbeaten since defeat to Burnley back in February, their best record at Championship level since the 1981-82 campaign. That season coincided with Luton's last promotion to the top flight.

Speaking to Luton Today about the Hatters' recent run of form, Drameh said: “The manager said just keep our form going and we’re peaking at the right time in the season. We’ve just got to keep it going, keep the unbeaten run going.

“It’s going to be tough for all the teams in the play-offs, but we’ve just got to keep doing our simple things. Keep the basics, keep the grit, keep the togetherness.

“We’d have loved to be closer to the automatic spots, but we’ve just got to keep the momentum, keep the unbeaten run going and hopefully go all the way.”

When asked about the confidence in the side that they can go on and win promotion to the Premier League, Drameh added: “Very confident.

"The manager gives us confidence, we believe in ourselves, we’re not going to let up. We’ve got three games to go, we’re going to finish them on a high and then it’s down to business in the play-offs.”
