Leeds United fans have given their approval to the signing of Lewis Bate from Chelsea after the 18-year-old's transfer was confirmed on Thursday morning.
The England youth international has signed a three-year deal at the club for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £1.5million and will initially link up with the club's under-23s side.
He becomes Leeds' fifth signing of the summer, following Junior Firpo, Jack Harrison, Amari Miller and Sean McGurk in through the door this summer.
Leeds are believed to have beaten the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and West Ham to the teenager's signing and he joins a talent-packed under-23s side that are set for the first campaign in the Premier League 2 Division One following last season's promotion-winning campaign.

Leeds begin their schedule of pre-season fixtures on Tuesday night when they visit Gusieley, with fixtures against Blackburn, Fleetwood and Real Betis following over the rest of the week, with fans hopeful of seeing some of these new faces in action.
