Leeds United confirm three new contracts at Elland Road as future planning continues

Emerging talent at Leeds United has been tied down to Elland Road with new contracts for three under-21 names. Goalkeeper Darryl Ombang, centre-back Jeremiah Mullen and midfielder Charlie Allen have all committed their futures to Leeds.

Ombang, 17, has signed his first professional deal with the Whites and agreed terms on a deal which expires in 2024. The England youth international began the campaign with the under-21s in Premier League 2 last week.

Allen, 18, arrived from Linfield in August 2020 as a 16-year-old for an undisclosed fee and has now agreed on a deal to 2024. The Northern Ireland youth international has since gone on to play regularly with the under-18s and under-23s.

Mullen, 18, only signed his first professional deal with Leeds last year, but as Charlie Cresswell, Oliver Casey, Leo Hjelde and Pascal Struijk have made way, he became a trusted member of the under-23 side last season. Mullen is tied down until 2025 now.

Leeds said it wanted to congratulate all three players on signing their deals and looked forward to furthering their development.
