A Leeds mum has gone viral after moving from America to find that Yorkshire phrases and words completely baffle her.
Lisa Dollan, 39, lives in Menston, Leeds, with her son and husband - originally a Yorkshireman.
After moving in 2013, Lisa discovered she was still struggling to understand the accent and decided to share her struggles on video platform TikTok.
But Lisa's popularity has gone off the scale as she navigates British food, habits and phrases.
After once asking if Liverpool was a different country, she's also admitted she doesn't always understand her home county either - as the strong accents and phrases can be confusing for anyone.
From the use of a kettle, to discovering that not all Brits live in castles and aren't friends with the Queen, she remains confused by colloquial terms and the rather thick northern accents.
Lisa, originally from Georgia, US, said: "I started creating TikToks in the first lock down when I lost my job because of the pandemic.

"I found a TikTok video via Facebook and instantly fell in love with the app and the speed of the entertainment so I opened an account.
" I was initially going to speak about mental health but things didn’t pan out that way!
"I made the mistake of mispronouncing 'chicken goujon' on a video, instead calling it a 'goolion' and my following erupted.
"I woke up with thousand of comments and followers because of a mistake.
"The UK thought it was hilarious!"
Lisa has racked up an impressive 262.2 thousand followers and her videos have had over 9.6 million likes.
From heralding Yorkshire Tea as the best to discovering a Yorkshire heatwave as opposed to a Georgia one, the mum has become adored on the social media app.
Lisa has took to the app on multiple occasions, asking her followers to help her out.
In one video, her son can be seen waving a Yorkshire flag enthusiastically and another captures the phrases she would use to their Yorkshire equivalent such as - "want owt from shops luv?"
Another documents a Yorkshire heatwave, to which she decides she definitely needs a cardigan.
She compares to her home state of Georgia to Yorkshire's less intense heatwaves.
There's a lot of firsts for Lisa as she tries new foods and discovering a cuppa is a highly debated topic.
After once asking for a strong, milky brew, she discovered that wasn't a possibility.
Lisa has got plans to continue with her videos, as her following grows and she often shares helpful advice to those struggling through lock down.
