Leeds Met Office weather forecast for Tuesday after days of rain misery

After a miserable Monday in Yorkshire, Leeds looks set to enjoy much more settled conditions today (Tues).

The county was battered by strong winds and torrential rain yesterday with some areas experiencing mild flooding.

The River Ouse in York showed signs of overflowing and a road in nearby Mirfield was forced to shut due to surface water.

But the Met Office is predicting Leeds will enjoy a dry day on Tuesday (November 2).

The city's weather will follow a similar pattern to much of Yorkshire as it looks set to be a cloudy start to the day.

But, after a chilly start, the sun could make a short appearance around lunchtime.

Most people will wake up to cloudy conditions in the city which are not expected to shift until around 11am. Temperatures will hover between 6C and 9C in the morning before it becomes slightly warmer in the afternoon.

The city could enjoy a high of 11C by 2pm before temperatures drop to 8C in the evening.

There will be sunny intervals between 11am and 4pm, according to the Met Office. No rain is forecast for Leeds today.
