Leeds' award-winning Tavassoli’s Cafe and Grill hits out at 'disgusting' review about 'smelly staff'

An award-winning Leeds restaurant has hit out at a negative reviewer who accused a staff member of having a bad odour.

Tavassoli’s Cafe and Grill, which recently won best bottomless brunch in our Leeds Loves awards, has posted on Facebook about a ‘disgusting’ negative review they’ve received. In the review, the venue is slated for alleged 'shocking service and unhygienic staff'.

Angered, Tavassoli’s posted on Facebook : “Imagine saying ‘why is your staff sat there eating pot noodle on her break on one of the tables’ and ‘We got served by a boy who was smelly’ to try to not pay for their bottomless brunch after they've had the full 90 mins and ate all their food.

“Customers sat next to them told us how they high fived and said this will be the fifth venue this week they've had a discount from. As the owner, I called them out and made them to apologise to my staff, they didn't and started to call me names. Obviously made them pay in full and ejected them.

“We do not tolerate rude customers at all. I'd rather have no customers than a bad customer. If the fault is ours, we will put our hands up and do our best to rectify. But we won't tolerate any customer at all cost.
