LeBron triple-double paces Lakers to beat Nets in Brooklyn

With 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, LeBron James pushed the Los Angeles Lakers to a dominant 128-113 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. The Lakers scored 75 points in the first half but they played much better defense in the second half to pull out the road win.

With the win, the Lakers still only have one loss this season against teams below-.500. In addition to the big game for LeBron, Anthony Davis had 16 points and 10 rebounds on the same night that he was also chosen as an All-Star starter.

In a spot-start for JaVale McGee, who missed with flu-like symptoms, Dwight Howard was a monster in the middle. Howard had 14 points and 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action, as well as two steals and a block.

For the Nets, Kyrie Irving led the team in scoring with 20 points but he had a tough night shooting the ball, going seven for 17 from the field.
