LeBron James teased the release of his latest signature shoe on his Instagram page on Thursday morning and announced a release date for later this month for the 17th edition of his famous Nike Basketball shoe. James showed off what is called the “Future Air” colorway of his LeBron 17 shoe. The LeBron 17 is set to go on sale next Friday, September, 27.
As we’ve written here before, the outer layer of the LeBron 17 appears to be a mash-up of the two styles we saw LeBron wear over the last two seasons on the LeBron 15s and the 16s. However, the new signature for James also harkens back to some of his older editions like the 9s and 10s with the bright colors and reflective aspects. It also has a higher air bag than previous editions of LeBron’s signature shoes.
