LeBron James attends release for new John Elliot collaboration

LeBron James may not be in the playoffs or doing any work on television, but he’s still popping up here and there as the Los Angeles Lakers try to pave a way forward with new head coach Frank Vogel.

After popping up at Vogel’s introductory press conference on Monday, LeBron showed up to a release party for his latest shoe collaboration with designer John Elliot. The folks at TMZ captured LeBron James sharing an embrace with former Cavs teammate Tristan Thompson at the event, which showcased a “Triple Black” version of his collaboration with the designer.

According to WWD, LeBron was accompanied as usual by his business partners Maverick Carter and Randy Mims. LeBron looked to be having a nice time.

The shoes are scheduled for a wider release after the release party last night at the John Elliot store in Los Angeles. The latest version of this LeBron 8 reboot is schedule for a wider release on May 25, via the SNKRS App, as well as Kith and John Eliot stores.
