Nottingham Forest were linked with a move for Jeremie Bela over the summer - but it now looks like the French forward is on his way to Birmingham City.
The 26-year-old has been pictured on social media apparently posing with a Birmingham shirt.
The picture was posted from an Instagram account belonging to Saint-Etienne's former Bristol City striker Lois Diony.
Ironically, Diony was a target for Birmingham two years ago when Harry Redknapp was in charge.
Bela is shown holding up a number 11 shirt with his name on the back of it.
That particular number has been available since Isaac Vassell left the club to join Cardiff City in August.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain state that Bela has settled his contract dispute with Spanish club Albacete Balompie.
This would make the player a free agent - and able to sign for another club in the January transfer window.
Forest were reported to have sent scouts to watch Bela last season.
