Nottingham Forest fans have trolled Derby County's most famous famous as they (perhaps) joke they want their own team to lose next week.
One Direction star Niall Horan his 41.3m followers urging them to keep their fingers crossed for his beloved Rams ahead of their game against Birmingham City.
With their Championship status hanging by a thread, Derby took the lead, only to lose 2-1, leaving them four points about the drop zone with two games to go.
However, third bottom Rotherham have two games in hand and they can also be caught by Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe, although a huge swing in goal difference would be need for the latter to stay up.
After Derby were beaten, Forest fans took to Twitter with one user replying saying League One direction via a quote tweet.
Other Reds supporters also mocked the Irishman as Wayne Rooney's Rams hover above the drop zone.
Forest are now mathematically safe as their own disappointing season winds down. Their penultimate game sees them go to Wednesday.
Victory for the Owls next weekend could set up a final day showdown when both sides would be battling to stay up, prompting some Forest fans to hope their own team loses if it means Derby going down to League One.
Jack_Seasons: How we wish fans were allowed at games. 29,000 at #nffc vs #swfc and 29,000 fans wearing blue and white. What a great atmosphere that would be! Hope you smash us 5-0. Good luck Wednesday
Red Dog: Just to clarify, I’ve never ever wanted forest to lose, next Saturday however..........
ForestBoy87: We’ll probably end up beating Wednesday and sending them down - just saying. It’ll probably be our performance of the season. When we don’t care about losing we’ll probably win.
