Lauren Goodger admits she may abandon lavish home birth plan & won't rule out hospital

Lauren Goodger has admitted she may have to abandon her plan for a luxurious home birth but is keeping an open mind ahead of her daughter's imminent arrival.

Former Towie star Lauren took to Instagram to share with fans her journey to motherhood and although she is all set up for a homebirth, things don't always go to plan.

Sharing a pic of home-birth advocate Ysee Battterham, on all fours and in the throws of labour amid a birth pool, she posted: "I am doing a home birth for everyone asking.

"My iron and bloods and my health through my pregnancy have been amazing so I was offered this from the get go and as time has gone on it's what I felt most comfortable with...

"What an amazing experience... BUT, anything can happen and might not run smoothly so I'm also open to this mentally that I may get taken to hospital and of course I'll take pics and vids and I'll let you all know."

She then asked followers reactions adding: "Shall I video my birth? Yes, No"

It comes after Lauren revealed her plans for a lavish set up at home for when her baby arrives.

She's ordered a birthing pool and plans to have her favourite candles and music playing to keep her calm during labour.

Lauren is also said to have booked two midwives and a doula to guide her through the birth at home.

The latest post comes as the star is struggling to get any rest as she reaches the final stages of her pregnancy.

She vented: "I hate night time! I just want to be able to sleep!!!!!", in a insta screen caption before thanking fans.

She added: "Thank you everyone for your messages.. I'm at the end and yes the sleeping thing is HELL I can't do much at the minute, it's a huge effort! But listen pregnancy tired is completely different to new born baby tired..so I can't wait for her now to be here."

Lauren also told how she'd been 'staying in the bath for hours' sharing a screen shot of her legs in a plush tub which even has an in-built TV to help her while away the hours.

Lauren has already showed off her daughter's new nursery and gave her 782k Instagram fans a glimpse of the sweet set up bedroom.

The brunette beauty also posed in her matching bra and pants set cradling her growing bump.

Captioning the photo: “We all are waiting patiently for you baby girl. What do you think we have called her?”

The Instagram post prompted her boyfriend Charles Drury to reply adding: "I’m so proud of how well you’ve done during this pregnancy darling, so beautiful & strong, physically & mentally.

"Not long until she’s with us! Love you both so much."
