Coronavirus cases in South Lanarkshire fell by more than a quarter last week.
Despite an increase in East Kilbride and Avondale, COVID-19 cases across the region are now at their lowest since September.
Figures published by Public Health Scotland revealed there were 305 new cases of the virus between Sunday, February 21, and Saturday, February 27.
The number of new cases in the region is now at its lowest since week beginning September 20 with 0.95 new cases recorded for every 1000 residents.
Last week was the sixth consecutive week that case numbers fell across South Lanarkshire following a spike after Christmas and New Year.
Thorntonhall, Jackton and Gardenhall (15) recorded the highest number of new cases last week after 15 were confirmed - three times higher than the previous week.
That equates to 3.43 new cases for every 1000 residents.
Across South Lanarkshire, 36 of the 82 neighbourhoods recorded less than three new COVID-19 cases last week - up from 24 in the previous week.
Data for some neighbourhoods where less than three cases were recorded last week was suppressed by Public Health Scotland.
East Kilbride and Avondale was the only area to witness an increase in new cases last week after at least 78 new COVID-19 cases recorded - up 34 per cent.
That equates to between 0.81-1.09 cases for every 1000 residents.
More new cases were recorded in the Hamilton area than anywhere else in South Lanarkshire last week after at least 100 positive tests were confirmed - down 39 per cent.
That equates to between 0.97-1.09 cases for every 1000 residents.
Clydesdale remains the epicentre of the crisis in South Lanarkshire after at least 62 cases were recorded last week - down 37 per cent.
That equates to between 1.02-1.32 cases for every 1000 residents.
Cases in Rutherglen and Cambuslang increased by one last week after at least 28 were recorded.
That equates to between 0.46-0.98 cases for every 1000 residents.
Biggar, Symington, Thankerton and Dolphinton (13), Calderwood Central (10) and Douglas, Coalburn and Rigside (13) were the only other neighbourhoods to record at least 10 cases last week while Douglas, Coalburn and Rigside (3.03) was the only other neighbourhood to record at least three cases for every 1000 residents.
