Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Vedat Muriqi wants move, Ben Yedder battle with Liverpool

Tottenham’s season may be on hold as the world battles the coronavirus crisis, but that has not stopped reports claiming they are looking ahead and planning their summer transfer business.

It remains to be seen when the transfer window will open this summer, as leagues and associations battle to conclude their current campaigns.

But managers, and their recruitment staff, are believed to be keeping busy in isolation by planning deals well in advance, if the latest reports are to be believed.

With that in mind, here are the latest transfer rumours from White Hart Lane.

Muriqi wants transfer

Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi has told the club’s board that he wants to continue his career in England.

Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim the forward wants to leave this summer with Tottenham said to be still interested in signing him.

Muriqi has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances this season, and is under contract with the Turkish side till the end of June 2023.

Ben Yedder fight

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all interested in signing Wissam Ben Yedder this summer.

According to L'Equipe and BeSoccer, the trio are all interested in signing the Monaco striker when the window eventually opens.

Yedder has scored 19 times and claimed nine assists in 31 games for Monaco this season, and is likely to cost €45million (£39million).

Gollini interest

Tottenham will need to pay €20million to sign Pierluigi Gollini from Atlanta this summer.

The goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Spurs this summer, although it is not yet known whether he would be second choice or challenge current number one Hugo Lloris.

Gollini was said to be one of three names ‘narrowed down’ by Jose Mourinho and Gazzetta dello Sport - via Sport Witness - are reporting that Atalanta are hoping to make a €16million profit on what they paid out for Gollini.
