Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Philippe Coutinho interest, £43.8m asking price for wonderkid

Here are your Tottenham transfer rumours for Friday, April 10.

Spurs interested in Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho’s loan deal at Bayern Munich expires at the end of the year. He will subsequently return to Barcelona with his future wildly up in the air.

But this week, speaking to Sky Sports , agent Kia Joorabchian revealed that his client would like to return to the Premier League.

“Pre all the situation we are in, and after the Champions League games when he played in England, we had a long chat about it and of course the Premier League is something he has always enjoyed playing in and loved playing in and he would love to come back and play in,” Joorabchian said.

“We haven’t spoken about where he’d like to go since the pandemic situation but everything is a possibility.”

And Spurs have been named as a possible landing spot. According to the Mirror , Tottenham could be about to enter the race for Coutinho. Spurs were keen on signing Coutinho last summer but had to end negotiations, however, they could return to the well this summer, with a loan deal and an option or even obligation to buy purportedly as the most likely avenue.

Camavinga asking price set at €50m

There is a growing list of clubs lining up to sign 17-year-old sensation Eduardo Camavinga. Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have all been tipped to make a move for the defensive midfielder, and last week Sport reported that Spurs are also interested.

And now Friday’s edition of AS also names Spurs as suitors for Camavinga. They also name the potential asking price at €50m.

However, amidst all of this, Real Madrid are the favourites to Camavinga. They are said to be Camavinga’s preferred choice and could secure a deal with just one phone call from head coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Nevertheless, Spurs, who are in need of midfield support, are ready to fight for the teenager.

Cengiz Under interest rekindled

Tuttomercatoweb report that Spurs have rekindled their interest in Roma winger Cengiz Under.

The Turkish international only has three league goals on the season, but missed a large portion of the early goings with a biceps injury and only worked his way into the Roma starting XI on a regular basis in mid-January, starting seven of the last eight games. In that run, he has two goals.

Per Turkish Football , Spurs were interested in signing Under last summer, while Gunes claims that Jose Mourinho himself is a huge admirer of Under.

Spurs will be looking for offensive firepower this summer, and with Under not turning 23 until the summer, he could be a long-term answer to the problem.
