Latest Tottenham transfer news: Real Madrid striker linked, Dani Olmo race, Victor Wanyama exit

Tottenham Hotspur's hopes of a top-four finish were dealt another blow as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Watford.

In truth, it could have been much worse for Jose Mourinho's side had Paulo Gazzaniga not saved a penalty in the second half.

That further underlined the need for more recruits in Harry Kane's extended absence.

Gedson Fernandes is already through the door but with their leading scorer out of action until mid-April, Jose Mourinho will be desperate to see more bodies through the door.

Here, we round the day's latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

Jovic targeted

Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic is being targeted by Jose Mourinho to fill the void left by Harry Kane's injury.

The Real Madrid striker signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for £51million in the summer but has been unable to hit the heights of last season.

According to  Defensa Central , Mourinho has been in touch with old club Madrid over a potential move for Jovic in the January transfer window.

Jovic has scored just one goal in 18 La Liga appearances this season.

Tottenham, Wolves and Leicester City are all chasing the signature of Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Dani Almo,  according to Croatian outlet Sportske.

The likes of AC Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with the 21-year-old this month.

Olmo can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger and has been in high demand this month.

The report also claims that a bid has been made for his services by an unnamed Premier League club worth £21.3 million.

Wanyama set for exit

Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama could be on the move to Turkey this month.

Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has identified Wanyama as a transfer target, according to  Takvim .

Wanyama has only made two Premier League appearances for Tottenham this season and Mourinho could be willing to sanction a loan deal, as a result.
