A further 2,481 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland in the last 24 hours – including 119 in Ayrshire.
Latest data shows there are 750 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals which is down 35 from Friday. There are currently 59 people with the disease being treated in ICUs, down five over the same period.
Meanwhile, there are 71 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals while five people are being treated for the illness in the region's intensive care units.
No new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours which means Scotland's death toll remains at 9,478.
However, 11,933 deaths have been registered in Scotland where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to Sunday, November 14.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Falkirk has the highest rate in the country – at 536.2 as of Sunday, November 21.
Moray has the second-highest infection rate at 534.9 while Dumfries and Galloway is third with 532.1.
In terms of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 400.5. South Ayrshire's rate stands at 377.2 while North Ayrshire's is 292.7.
Of the new cases reported in Ayrshire, 39 were in North Ayrshire with 36 in South Ayrshire and 29 in East Ayrshire.
