Latest Liverpool FIFA 20 update released with Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita given new traits

Three Liverpool players have been given negative traits on FIFA 20 in the latest database update, with a total of eight Reds players details being updated as part of the release.

Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have all been given new traits on the game whilst Fabinho has had a positive trait removed from his profile.

So, what's changed?

Here are the latest changes to the Liverpool squad on FIFA 20 as of April 15, 2020.

Fabinho - Trait removed

The Brazilian midfielder has had the 'Solid Player' trait removed from his profile on FIFA 20.

On the game, according to EA SPORTS, this trait means that "A Player with this trait has a reduced chance of getting injured when a collision occurs."

So, Fabinho will have a higher chance of getting injured in-game from now on.

Gini Wijnaldum - Upgrade

Wijnaldum's strength attribute has been upgraded in the latest update, being increased from 72 to 74.

Jordan Henderson - Contract updated

For some reason, despite signing a new five-year contract in 2018, FIFA 20 had Henderson's contract expiring this summer in game.

But, this has been corrected in the latest update, with the midfielder's contract now ending in 2023 on the game.

Joel Matip - Trait added

Matip has had the 'Injury Prone' trait added to his profile on FIFA 20.

According to EA SPORTS, "A player with this Trait has an increased chance of getting injured when a collision occurs."

So, Matip will be far more likely to become injured in-game from now on after a collision.

Naby Keita - Trait added

Keita has also had the 'Injury Prone' trait added to his profile on FIFA 20.

According to EA SPORTS, "A player with this Trait has an increased chance of getting injured when a collision occurs."

So, Keita will be far more likely to become injured in-game from now on after a collision.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - Trait added

Oxlade-Chamberlain has had the 'Injury Prone' trait added to his profile on FIFA 20.

According to EA SPORTS, "A player with this Trait has an increased chance of getting injured when a collision occurs."

So, Oxlade-Chamberlain will be far more likely to become injured in-game from now on after a collision.

Takumi Minamino - Position change

Minamino has had his preferred positions change in the latest update, as EA SPORTS change his second preferred position from CF to ST.

This is how Minamino's preferred positions now look in-game.

1st: RM

2nd: ST

3rd: CAM

Roberto Firmino - Position change

Firmino has had his preferred positions change in the latest update, as EA SPORTS have removed both his second preferred position (ST) and third preferred position (CAM) in-game.

This means Firmino can now only play one position in-game, which is CF.

Sadio Mane - Position change

Mane has also had his preferred positions change in the latest update, as EA SPORTS have removed his second preferred position (LM) from his profile.

This means Mane can only play the LW position in-game.

Neco Williams - Downgrade

Williams has been given a downgrade in the latest update, with the full-back's potential being reduced from 86 to 84.

This seems a bit harsh!

Well, that's the summary of all the latest changes to the Liverpool squad on FIFA 20 as part of the latest database update. What do you make of this Liverpool squad update on FIFA 20?
