Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours for Friday, May 15.
Leeds future could be Bright
One of the Championship’s hottest young prospects might be heading to Elland Road, according to Football Insider.
Leeds are set to compete with a host of other clubs for Queens Park Rangers forward Bright Osayi-Samuel as he could be set to leave Loftus Road in the summer.
The 22-year-old has dazzled this campaign, scoring six times in 32 games as he established himself in west London.
QPR triggered a 12-month extension to Osayi-Samuel’s contract in February to keep him at the club until next summer but they may be forced to cash in on the youngster now rather than lose him for nothing in 2021.
Go Foyth and conquer Elland Road
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has his eye on fellow Argentine Juan Foyth this summer, according to reports.
The Tottenham Hotspur defender has failed to hold down a first-team place under Jose Mourinho, with Football Insider claiming Leeds could make a move for him when the transfer window opens if they secure promotion to the Premier League.
Bielsa protégé Mauricio Pochettino, who signed Foyth for Spurs, is adamant that he should learn his trade in north London.
However, with Ben White set to return to Brighton, Leeds will be in the market for at least two senior centre-backs and Bielsa could convince Foyth to take the leap.
Leeds target Adams set for Southampton exit
Southampton striker Che Adams nearly signed for Leeds in January after they had a £19million bid accepted but the move ultimately fell through.
But now Football Insider says that the former Birmingham City man will be available for a knockdown fee in the summer as transfer fees tumble.
Adams is likely to go for £10million or even lower when the next transfer window opens, but it remains to be seen if Leeds reignite their interest in the 23-year-old.
That is because the club is committed to converting Jean-Kevin Augustin’s loan move from RB Leipzig into a permanent one should they reach the Premier League.
