Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Dean Henderson battle, Leon Bailey race, Jorginho latest

Chelsea have already been active in the market with early movement, luring Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to West London from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively.

Both additions will provide a significant boost to Frank Lampard's side next season, as they look to assure their position as Champions League regulars as well as closing the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.

As such, further additions could be on the cards and a host of exciting names are being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, which would strengthen the Blues at both ends of the field.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest rumours and gossip surrounding Lampard's side.

Leon Bailey fight

Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs vying for the services of Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, according to the Mail.

The Blues, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, are said to have accelerated their interest in the Jamaican ace after his match-winning display in midweek against Koln.

It's said the trio will run the rule over the 22-year-old in the German cup final on July 4 and, with Bailey rated at £40million, he is a much cheaper option to Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.

Leverkusen face a huge battle to keep hold of their key players this summer, with midfield star Kai Havertz also attracting a wealth of interest.

Dean Henderson interest

Chelsea are locking horns with Sheffield United in the battle to secure Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson following his excelling performances for the Blades this season, The Sun states.

The highly-rated stopper, widely tipped to become England's next first-choice stopper, has caught the eye with the Blades in their remarkable push for European football.

On loan from Manchester United, Henderson's future has continued to attract speculation, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side having David De Gea on their books, but they want to sign him to a new deal.

However, Chelsea are ready to make a move for the £50million-rated stopper and could offer him regular football in the Champions League next season.

Chelsea reject Jorginho and Pjanic swap

Chelsea have rejected a swap deal from Juventus that would see Jorginho head to Turin and Miralem Pjanic move the other way, Italian outlet Calcio Mercato report.

Former Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion with Italy international Jorginho having brought the midfielder to Stamford Bridge from Napoli.

Juventus are said to have renewed their interest in the 28-year-old after failing in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Arthur, who they also offered Pjanic in exchange.

However, it appears that Chelsea have no intention of accepting such a deal and Juventus will have to come up with a different option.
