Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Arsenal's Aubameyang boost, Gueye hopes boosted, Kokcu talks opened

Arsenal will be looking to build on their FA Cup fifth-round victory over Portsmouth when they face London rivals West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday's clash with the Hammers will be Mikel Arteta's side first home outing since the disappointing UEFA Europa League defeat to Olympiakos last Thursday night.

Aside from the disappointments against the Greek giants in last week's second-leg, Arsenal have been in decent form of late, winning four of their last five matches in all competitions.

But as the Europa League exit showed, Arsenal are in need of big changes this summer and head coach Arteta will be in desperate need of bolstering his squad ahead of what, hopefully, will be a much stronger 2020/21 campaign.

With that in mind, here is a round-up of the very latest Arsenal transfer news.

FA Cup quarter-final draw in full

Barcelona end Aubameyang interest

Barcelona have ended their interest in Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Daily Express.

The La Liga giants were understood to have been showing a great level of interest in landing the Gabon international, who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season.

Now, though, it has been claimed by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague that Barcelona have withdrawn their interest in the former Borussia Dortmund man.

And Barcelona's decision to end their interest in Aubameyang could come as a blow to Liverpool, with the Spanish club now focusing their attentions on signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

Gunners' Gueye hopes

Arsenal's hopes of landing Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye this summer have been handed a boost, with the youngster not set to sign a new contract with the French club, report Paris Normandie .

The Gunners are likely to be plotting mass changes this summer, particularly to the midfield area where Arteta is desperate to bolster his options.

And their hopes of landing Gueye, 21, have been handed a boost with the news that he is not set to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Should the Gunners make a move for the midfielder, they could face competition from the likes of AC Milan and Sevilla, who are also interested.

Gunners in talks for Kocku

Arsenal have entered talks with Dutch club Feyenoord over a summer move for highly-rated midfielder Orkun Kocku, according to the Mail.

The Gunners are desperate to sign the 19-year-old this summer, with the club having opened talks with Feyenoord over a £23million swoop.

Feyenoord are desperate to extend the contract, which expires in the summer of 2023, of the Turkish international but fear that they may not have the financial power to keep hold of him.

This season, Kokcu has scored three times and claimed six assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
