Sports streaming platform FanCode will be the digital streaming partner in India for the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL). The tournament will be held from July 17 to August 8 and can be live-streamed on FanCode across the country, company said in a statement.
The LPL is organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and commercial and event rights for the LPL are with the Innovative Production Group FZ, LLC (IPG).
The LPL had a 65% audience consumption growth last year, and the tie-up with FanCode will further expand its digital outreach and fan engagement in India, company added.

The 2026 edition will feature 62 Sri Lankan cricketers and 32 overseas cricketers from 5 different franchises including Colombo Kaps, Dambulla Sixers, Galle Gallants, Kandy Royals and defending champions SC Jaffna Kings.
Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar will be debuting in the LPL with Kandy Royals, and will be playing alongside Moeen Ali, Jimmy Neesham, Shakib Al Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga and Angelo Mathews.
“With a mix of Sri Lankan stars and international marquee players, LPL 2026 is set to capture the imagination of Indian cricket fans and we are delighted to bring them all the action LIVE on FanCode,” said FanCode co-founder Prasana Krishnan.
IPG Group Founder and CEO Anil Mohan Sankhdhar added, "The Indian subcontinent is home to some of the most passionate cricket fans in the world, and expanding our digital footprint here is a major priority for the Lanka Premier League.

The tournament will adopt a double round-robin league phase followed by playoffs, and player registrations from 21 countries have been received for the player draft.
