Landon Collins will finally see his dream of playing for the Redskins come true

Landon Collins will realize a dream in more ways than one if his reported $84 million deal with the Washington Redskins goes through.

Reports of the deal between the two parties broke Monday after the legal-tampering period started. It’s an $84 million deal over the course of six years.

While the money is nice, back in 2015, Collins made it clear the Redskins were his first choice:

Not hard to see why — Collins idolizes Sean Taylor.

Granted, the money helps. But for Collins, jumping in the NFC East from the NewYork Giants to the Redskins wasn’t even a tough decision.

For both the Redskins and Collins, this has been a long time coming.
