Lamar Jackson gushes about Ravens when asked about potential new contract

The Baltimore Ravens have heard plenty of questions about when they will sign quarterback Lamar Jackson to a long-term extension. Jackson is currently under contract for two more years in Baltimore, so there is still plenty of time to negotiate a deal that works for both sides.

When asked about how contract talks have been and if he has a feeling when an extension could be finalized, Jackson didn’t provide any concrete timetable, but did gush over the Ravens organization and Baltimore in general, saying that he loved plenty about his current situation.

Jackson has seen plenty of success in a Ravens uniform, accumulating 9,991 total yards and 87 total touchdowns. He’s also accomplished being a unanimous MVP award winner alongside breaking countless records in just two and a half years as a full-time starter. Jackson has a long and successful NFL career ahead of him, and it seems like he wants it to continue in Baltimore.

The process of getting such a big contract done take time. There are plenty of logistical things that need to be worked out, but based off of what both the team and Jackson have said, it looks promising that the two parties will agree to a deal at some point.
