Lakeland brings back its popular hot chocolate bombe in time for Easter

If you're planning to treat someone (or yourself) to an Easter egg with a difference, then look no further.

Home and kitchenware retailer Lakeland has released a new hot chocolate egg bombe for Easter Sunday - and it looks amazing.

The Cocoba Easter Egg Hot Chocolate Bombe is an indulgent milk chocolate egg, which can be mixed with milk to create a creamy hot chocolate drink with marshmallows. It's available now for only £3 at lakeland.co.uk and offers 55g of chocolate.

The solid orb is popped into a mug and once you pour hot milk over one, it melts to reveal an eruption of mini marshmallows that little ones and grownups alike will love.

It comes after the huge success of Lakeland's Hot Chocolate Bauble Melt with Marshmallows, which was sold last year during the Christmas period.

As the festive version sold out within days, we doubt this new mouthwatering bombe will be around for long. So be quick!

Jane Karlicek, Food Buyer at Lakeland said: "The Easter Egg Hot Chocolate Bombe is a great addition to our range and we were instantly transported back to childhood in the office when we sampled it.

"As with our infamous prosecco shimmer and gin garnishes, this melt adds a really fun twist & excitement to a traditional drink.

"We are thrilled by the popularity of Christmas version and expect the Easter treat to prove equally as popular so advise customers to buy now whilst stocks last."

For anyone who wants to buy one as a gift, each bomb is presented in a Easter-themed box.

Lakeland shoppers can take advantage of the retailer's free click and collect service , but you can also have your order delivered for free if it's over £40 - otherwise you'll pay £2.99.
