Lady Gaga is 'considering adoption and surrogacy' after 'epiphany' about motherhood

Lady Gaga is considering starting a family through adoption or surrogacy, according to reports.

The Born This Way singer, 33, had an "epiphany" that being a mum is the only thing missing in her life when she was rushed to hospital after falling off stage, it's claimed.

She has reportedly decided she doesn't need a man in order to experience motherhood and is looking into her options.

A source close to the star told Radar Online : "She got very emotional getting her whole body x-rayed. She has everything she wants in the world, but she's missing someone to leave her legacy to.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is said to have told her friends and family that she's now seriously considering adoption or surrogacy.

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Lady Gaga for comment.

Her romance with fiancé Christian Carino came to an end 10 months ago.

It was said that talent agent Christian asked Gaga for her hand in marriage just a few months after they started dating in February 2017.

She got engaged to boyfriend of Taylor Kinney, her boyfriend of four years, in 2015 but they called off their engagement the following year.
