L’Oreal Paris announce limited edition Color Riche Lipstick shades for International Women’s Day

Today, 8th March 2023, we celebrate International Women’s Day, and L’Oreal Paris are excited to share ‘Colors of Worth’ - a new collection of five limited edition Color Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick shades with a statement.

Each limited-edition Colors of Worth lipstick has been created to inspire confidence - by spreading a powerful message: every woman is worth it.

To better connect with women around the world, each shade is embodied by the powerhouse personalities of Camilla Cabello, Gemma Chan, Eva Longoria, H.E.R and Kate Winslet to name a few.

L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Colors of Worth are available in Worth It, Freedom, Stand Up, Confident and Audacious for £9.99 in Boots and Superdrug right now.

And this isn’t the only thing L’Oreal Paris are celebrating - but 52 years of its signature tagline, “Because You’re Worth It”.

L’Oreal Paris was the first brand in the world to underline the value of self-worth, a strong message that is deepened today with the ‘Lessons of Worth’ statement.

These sessions are shared by a series of powerful testimonials by some of L’Oreal Paris’ spokespeople - who have shared what the iconic tagline means to them.

Elle Fanning is the latest to join L’Oreal Paris and unveil the new chapter in the series of poignant videos - celebrating women’s empowerment.

Elle shares her take on the iconic tagline and definition of self-worth with a video centred around celebrating imperfections and encouraging people everywhere to love their insecurities and focus less on the filtered content we see on social media.

If you fall into the social comparison trap as soon as you log on to social media, Elle Fanning knows exactly how you feel, and she wants it to stop. For L’Oréal Paris’ latest Lesson of Worth, Elle warns us off and out of that trap, where even Hollywood stars surprisingly judge themselves against others.

“Stop, it’s so easy to look at social media and compare ourselves to others on every single thing,” she warns.

Elle’s empowering message goes on to remind us that; ‘behind every filtered retouched image, behind every cute funny video and inside every perfectly decorated apartment is someone who lives with their own struggles, their own insecurities, somebody that just like you and just like me.’

She goes on to say “We are all different, we are all imperfect and that’s just perfect. We are all enough, just as we are, and we are all worth it”.

What do you think of the latest lipstick shades? Has Elle Fanning’s message hit home for you? We’d love to hear how you’re celebrating International Women’s Day in the comments below.
