Kym Marsh a far cry from Fatal Attraction horror as she exchanges look of love with husband Scott

She's playing the iconic 'bunny boiler' character Alex Forrest in the stage production Fatal Attraction, but Kym Marsh looked the picture of marital bliss as she left Manchester Opera House with her hubby.

Kym has taken on the famous role of Alex, played by Glenn Close in the classic 1987 thriller, who has an affair with married man Dan Gallagher, played by former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth in the play.

The actress looked delighted to receive a bouquet of flowers from a fan after the show, which tells the story of happily married New York attorney Dan Gallagher whose perfect life is rocked when he has a fling with the seemingly charming editor Alex after they meet on a night out.

Kym, 45, and her husband gazed loving at each other as they walked along with their hands entwined.

She looked stunning in a camouflage jacket and black trousers, her long hair worn in curls around her shoulders.

Kym, who played Michelle Connor in Corrie, and Scott tied the knot at The Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst in October.

The military ceremony included a romantic poem from Scott, who is in the parachute regiment.

BBC Morning Live host Kym was walked down the aisle by her proud father David and her eldest daughter Emilie performed the couple's first dance song.

Kym, 45, and Scott, 33, began dating back in 2018 after being introduced by their mutual friend Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in Corrie.

The actor had a special role at the ceremony as Master of Ceremonies and co-star Alison King, who plays Carla Connor, was a bridesmaid.

Kym, who played Michelle in Corrie from 2006 to 2019, is set to star in the new series of Waterloo Road filmed in Greater Manchester.

She will play Nicky Walters, a mother to two pupils and school canteen worker in the rebooted BBC One drama.

Kym said about her new role: “I’m thrilled to be joining the fabulous cast of Waterloo Road, it’s such a joy to get the opportunity to film in Manchester again and I can’t wait to get going."
