Kylie Jenner has denied calling herself a "brown-skinned girl" in an Instagram caption which fans claim has now been deleted.
The makeup mogul, 23, uploaded a stunning snap of herself on social media, showing off her sun-kissed skin and gorgeous curves.
The snap was claimed to have had "Brown skinned girl" as the caption.
The post instantly went viral on Twitter, with the caption soon becoming "Brown eyed girl" on her post.
It now says "edited" under her caption, confirming that she has tweaked the caption from whatever was the previous one.
Soon after public speculation mounted, The Shade Room shared the snap on their profile.
Kylie then rushed to the comments section of the post, writing: "This is photoshopped. never said this. have a good day."
She then took to her Instagram Story to put the alleged version next to the one she claims to have had originally.
The mum-of-one wrote: "Here's the fake version that everyone believed. Saw online someone Photoshopped this photo I posted to change my caption from 'brown eyed girl' to 'brown skinned girl.' I never said this."
Kylie went on to explain that her original caption was a white heart and gold stars emojis, which was later changed to "brown eyed girl".
But despite her setting the record straight, critics kept slamming Kylie for the alleged caption.
One person penned: "Kylie Jenner really had the audacity to caption her picture as ‘brown skinned girl’ before changing it. She needs a slap."
Another wrote: "It’s the “edited” for meee."
While a third added: "'Brown skinned girl' wtf Kylie."
Another agreed, writing: "Cause you cant be a brown skin girl."
One critic added: "No u didn’t not change ur caption from brown skinned girl... The audacity."
