Kulusevski, Bentancur, Richarlison - Tottenham injury news and return dates before FA Cup clash

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is expected to ring the changes this weekend as he prepares his side for FA Cup action against Portsmouth. The clash with the League One outfit could prove to be a much-needed respite for the Lilywhites, with such a busy fixture schedule.

Their return to Premier League action didn't start as they would have wanted, but a 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace in midweek has allowed for a more positive outlook. The Italian head coach has some injury concerns to juggle with over the coming weeks, with some key players out.

With that said, here's a look at all the latest Tottenham injury news and possible return dates ahead of the weekend.

Dejan Kulusevski

Swedish forward Dejan Kulusevski has been a key player since joining from Juventus last January, meaning any absence from the side is often felt throughout. He has suffered with a muscular injury since the return of the Premier League from the World Cup break, with Conte unable to offer an update on his return.

What Conte has said: "Kulusevski is not a serious injury but you know we need to monitor it day by day and tomorrow and then we take the best decision. I don't know [if he can face Palace]."

Return date: N/A

Richarlison

Another of the forwards currently missing is summer signing Richarlison, who picked up a thigh injury during his time at the World Cup with Brazil. The versatile striker has been a miss for the Lilywhites since the return, with a little while before he will be fully fit once again.

What Conte has said: "About Richarlison we have to see and check the situation and for sure in the future he will have another MRI to understand very well his situation."

Return date: N/A

Rodrigo Bentancur

Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Betancur has been in fantastic form this season when he's played, finding some goal scoring form to his game too. His injury at the World Cup with Uruguay came as a huge blow to Spurs, who will be hopeful of a return soon as he steps up his recovery.

What Conte has said: "About Rodrigo Bentancur, he has started to work. He's still not ready and also for the FA Cup game but we hope to have him back for the next Premier League game."

Return date: January 15 - Arsenal (H)

Lucas Moura

Brazilian attacker Lucas Moura has been out with a tendon issue that continues to plague him throughout the season, with it currently being unknown when he will return.

Return date: N/A
