KUFPEC offers LNG cargo from Australia's Wheatstone plant for October

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co (KUFPEC) has offered a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for loading in Australia in October, two industry sources said on Tuesday.

The cargo is offered on a free-on-board (FOB) basis from the Wheatstone plant in Australia for Oct. 10 to 14 loading, they said.

The tender closes on Sept. 4, they added.

KUFPEC is the foreign exploration arm of Kuwait, a key Gulf OPEC producer, and is one of the stakeholders in the Chevron Corp-operated Wheatstone LNG project.
