British YouTube star KSI won his highly anticipated boxing rematch against US rival Logan Paul on Saturday night.
In a wild fight, both men were knocked to the canvas at different points in a professional bout that went the six-round distance in Los Angeles.
Two judges scored the fight 57-54 and 56-55 fight in favour of KSI, while one scored it 56-55 in favour of the American, who was deducted two points in a controversial fourth round for holding and hitting.
“I’m a dog. He hit me hard [in the fourth]. But he hit me in the back of the head. It is what it is,” KSI said after his victory, which gives him a professional boxing record of 1-0.
“Your boy is happy and your boy is victorious. Happy days. It took me a minute to collect myself but I came back at it and kept going. That’s boxing. I don’t want people to think I’m weak. I’m a fighter. I keep going. And that’s it.
“I’ve never worked so hard. In the ring and in camp. I kept going and I was ready, I was on fire. He couldn’t deal with my jab. He kept moving but I got him.”
The two men were fighting one another in a rematch after their amateur bout at the Manchester Arena in 2018 ended in a controversial majority decision draw.
