KSI: BGT illusion act was one of the ‘most incredible things’ I have seen

KSI said he was amazed by the illusion act on BGT (Ian West/PA) - (PA Wire)

YouTuber KSI has said an illusion act by a Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) semi-finalist is “one of the most incredible things” he has ever seen in his life.

Magician Fabian Fox was praised on Saturday night for his act which featured an appearance from the YouTuber’s primary school teacher.

The semi-final on Saturday night saw Fox ask the judges to pick a number of letters and numbers before he “time travelled” by driving a motorcycle onto a cage which was suspended in the air.

Within seconds he vanished and appeared in the crowd before returning on stage to play a video of his “trip”.

The video showed Fabian at KSI’s primary school after the first sequence of numbers and letters spelled out its postcode.

He later entered one of the classrooms where he rearranged the second sequence that was written out by the judges and spelled out KSI’s former music teacher’s name, Mrs Batts.

She appeared in the video and was asked to write out a mystery word which was placed in an envelope.

Fabian then asked KSI to read out the word he wrote out at the start of the act before revealing that they both had “gamer” written out.

He said: “If I had the power to press the golden button, I would.

“That is honestly one of the most incredible, incredible things I’ve ever seen in my life.

His thoughts were echoed by the judging panel, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, who praised Fabian for his thoughtful act.

Dixon said: “You took us on a real journey and I loved all the really small details, the fact that you had that epic moment with the bike and gave us the drama.

“You made it personable. I liked you in the audition round, but I love you now. I think when it mattered, you brought it. Well done, brilliant.”

Holden added: “There is just an ease and a charm to you.

“All I kept thinking about was the Royal Variety Show and how that would just look so cool on it.”

Simon Cowell said he thought the performance was “really clever and really brilliant” before being interrupted by the roar of the audience.

Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV.
