DHARWAD: As the elections to HDMC are round the corner, Karnataka Rashtra Samiti has decided to field its candidates in all wards.
Speaking at a press conference here on Saturday, KRS state treasurer KB Aravind said that the aim of the party is to root out corruption at all levels of administration and give clean governance.
This apart, basic facilities which have remained a mirage to the people till date will be provided, he said.
“The party has focussed on candidates’ clean image. The 29 candidates to be fielded in Dharwad have been finalised and the list of the candidates for Hubballi will be released in next two days,” he said.
“With no elected body in HDMC, the development of the twin cities has taken a setback. However, with the interference of the court, the elections are being scheduled now. KRS will make all-out efforts to come to power and give good administration,” he added.
