Kristen Stewart is the latest star to opt for a dramatic new hair colour during lockdown.
Photos shared by the actress’s hairstylist show that the Charlie’s Angels star, 30, has dyed her previous peroxide blonde crop bright orange.
Posting last month ahead of the official lockdown in California, colourist CJ Romero posted a series of photos on Instagram showing Stewart with her vibrant new hair colour alongside fellow actress Emma Roberts.
“Who said you can’t be cute in quarantine!?” he wrote alongside it. “Hair cut on @emmaroberts and Cut and Color on Kristen!!”
Romero has since posted a handful of photos showing off Stewart’s new look, including one which detailed the products used to achieve the colourful finish.
Sharing a snap of the actress leaning over a pool table in an almost identical hue to her hair, he wrote: “What’s your flavor of the week?? Ours is Cosmic Rust✨💥🧡 (that’s what I’m calling it anyways)
“I used Bright Copper and a couple drops of Autumn Red by @marianilastockholm I also added @incommon Cashmere Fusion (Restorative Treatment) to give my girls [sic] hair a little extra love and moisture!”
A handful of stars have used the lockdown period as an excuse to experiment with bold hair colours.
Singer Dua Lipa dyed her hair pink with the help of boyfriend Anwar Hadid before recently unveiling a new peachy orange shade.
Actress Elle Fanning has also coloured her naturally blonde hair a dusty pink colour while former Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff dyed her hair bright blue at the start of quarantine.
